Well worth the read from an author who knows how to write well.

A Rose by Any Other Name is a classic tragedy that ends up in sadness and death. Joanne Van Leerdam has a unique way of delivering character’s emotions, descriptions, and the struggle between good and evil.I enjoyed the many twists and turns and the surprising ending in this book.

This is such a interesting twist on Romeo and Juliet. The author weaves in the fairy tale of Rapunzel with the age old story of the Montague and Capulet families to create an entirely unexpected outcome. A good quick read for a rainy evening!

I thoroughly enjoyed this mashup of two different fairytales delivered in a new, fresh way. There were also a couple of twists I didn’t see coming! Even though it was a short read, it was full of beautiful descriptions and emotions, just as I’ve come to expect from this very talented author. I’d say this would be a perfect read for a lunch break.
